  • Shorten the inner and outer tubes to the desired length, ensuring both are shortened by the same amount
  • Remove any burrs with a file
  • Shorten the inner and outer plastic tubes to the desired length, once again ensuring both are shortened by the same amount
  • Oil the inner steel tube and then reassemble the drive shaft plastic protective cover
