Adjusting the Length of a PTO Shaft

Follow these steps to adjust the length of a PTO shaft:

• Remove the plastic protective cover.
• Shorten the inner and outer tubes to the desired length, cutting the same length off both tubes at once.
• Use a file to remove burrs.
• Shorten the inner and outer plastic tubes to the desired length, cutting the same length off both tubes at once.
• Apply oil to the inner tube of the steel pipe, then reinstall the PTO shaft plastic protective cover.
